At NeuroTribe UK, we’re more than just a therapy service. We’re a space – real and virtual – where neurodivergentAn individual whose brain functions differently from the (usually neurotypical) perception of what is “normal”. For example, an individual with autism, Asperger's syndrome, dyslexia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia, ADHD, OCD or Tourette Syndrome. people, people of colourPeople of Colour is a collective term used to describe people who are non-White. The term can include and may be used by people who identify as White-passing., and others too often pushed to the margins can feel seen, heard, and supported.
We know what it’s like to grow up feeling out of place. To be told you’re “too much” or “not enough.” To be given labels that don’t fit – or none at all. That’s why we created NeuroTribe UK: to offer something different. Something honest. Something that recognises the whole person – not just a diagnosis or a set of symptoms.
We believe support should be accessible, affirming, and culturally aware. That’s the standard we set for every service we offer – whether it’s therapy, training, supervision, or facilitation.
Rooted in Lived and Professional Experience
Our team is made up of people who bring both professional training and lived experience. We understand neurodivergence and trauma not just because we’ve studied them, but because we’ve lived through them. We know the fear of burnoutA stress condition where we feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained and unable to keep up with the demands of our daily life., the weight of maskingThe act of changing or ‘hiding’ natural behaviours to appear “normal”. This action can be conscious or unconscious, and is often used in a situation that is threatening in some way. For example, a person may attempt to appear more ‘neurotypical’ to avoid bullying at school or work. , the exhaustion of trying to explain what feels unexplainable.
That mix – of clinical knowledge, creative practice, and personal insight – shapes how we show up. It’s what helps us meet people where they are, without judgment.
Whether you’re reaching out for the first time or have tried therapy before and felt like it didn’t fit, we’re here to do things differently.
For the Misfits, the Deep Feelers, and the Ones Who’ve Had to Fight to Be Understood
NeuroTribe UK was born from a need: the need for care that doesn’t pathologiseTo regard or treat someone as psychologically or medically abnormal. difference. For spaces where it’s okay to stim, to speak in metaphors, to not have the words yet. For therapy that gets that cultureThe characteristics and knowledge of a particular group of people, including religion, food, clothing, language, music, arts, social habits, and other factors., raceThe concept of categorising people into groups that are generally linked to their own or their ancestor’s place of birth, usually defined by shared physical qualities, such as skin colour, nationality, and ethnicity. For example, Black, Asian, Aboriginal, African American, Native American, White, Māori, Pacific Islander, or other races., gender, disability, and class shape every part of how we move through the world.
We’re especially passionate about working with people who have been overlooked or misunderstood by traditional systems. That includes late-diagnosed or self-identified neurodivergentAn individual whose brain functions differently from the (usually neurotypical) perception of what is “normal”. For example, an individual with autism, Asperger's syndrome, dyslexia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia, ADHD, OCD or Tourette Syndrome. folks, people navigating trauma, those with complex identities, and anyone who’s tired of being told they’re “too sensitive,” “too quiet,” or “too much.”
It’s Not Just About Therapy
Yes, we offer one-to-one therapy, but we also provide supervision, training, workshops, and consultancy – all grounded in neurodivergent-affirming, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive practice.
Our work with organisations is about helping teams understand neurodiversityHow human brains and minds differ. The Neurodiversity Movement is an approach that seeks equal rights, respect and inclusion for neurodivergent people who have conditions like autism, Asperger's syndrome, dyslexia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia, ADHD, OCD or Tourette Syndrome in real, practical ways. No corporate fluff. No tick-box training. Just honest conversations, useful tools, and space to reflect.
We also train other facilitators, helping them build safer, more inclusive environments – whether they’re running a workplace session or holding space for a community group.
Values We Live By
- Affirmation over assimilation – We don’t want anyone to shrink themselves to fit in. We meet people as they are.
- Curiosity over judgment – Everyone has a story. We take the time to listen.
- Care over perfection – We’re not here to fix you. We’re here to walk with you.
- Justice and joy – We want our work to challenge harmful systems and celebrate difference.
A Growing Community
We started small, and we’re still growing. What’s stayed the same is our commitment to care, connection, and community. Whether you’re working with us one-to-one or inviting us into your organisation, we want you to feel like you belong here.
You don’t need a diagnosis. You don’t need to explain yourself. You don’t need to have it all figured out.
Just come as you are.
We’ll meet you there.
