Affordable Fees Policy

We want to help everyone access quality therapy at a price they can afford. This policy outlines the fees you (the therapy client) can expect from us (the organisation). The success of this policy relies on honest, transparent communication from both us and you.

Affordable Therapy

During your advice call, we will discuss your financial situation and where you believe you fit within our fee scale before agreeing on a fee.

If your financial circumstances change, or during a therapy review, your therapist will also consider any necessary adjustments to your fee in line with this policy and our fee scale.

Thinking About Your Fee

We have three levels of fees, which are shown below. Please consider which level best reflects your overall financial situation. This will give you a good idea of the fee you are most likely to be offered. We will discuss this further with you during your advice call.

Specialist Teams

We have two teams of therapists. One team supports clients with complex trauma, which requires specialist skills. If you need to see a therapist from this team, this may affect the fee we can offer you.

Our Sliding Scale

Homeowner, own or lease a car, no dependants (including children under 18), receive paid holiday & sick pay or Access to Work.

£75

Non-homeowner, some dependants, physical disability or long-term health condition, do not own a non-work vehicle, can afford food & housing, very small expendable income.

£65

Living in social housing or council accommodation, no secure employment (paid holiday & sick pay), unemployed, or on a low income (earning less than £21k per year before tax) and in receipt of Universal Credit. Can afford food & housing.

£45

Session Frequency & Commitment

At NeuroTribe UK, we typically ask clients to commit to eight to twelve weekly sessions at the start of therapy. This structure follows psychodynamic therapeutic principles, which emphasise the importance of regularity and consistency in building a strong therapeutic relationship and making meaningful progress.

Why weekly sessions?

Weekly sessions create a safe and stable therapeutic space, which is especially valuable in online therapy. They allow for deeper exploration of your concerns while ensuring continuity in your therapeutic journey.

Can I have bi-weekly or monthly sessions?

After the initial eight to twelve weeks, you and your therapist may discuss whether transitioning to bi-weekly or, in exceptional cases, monthly sessions is clinically appropriate. While session frequency should primarily be a clinical decision, we also acknowledge the financial considerations of our neurodiverse client base and will approach these conversations with sensitivity. Our goal is to provide support that is both effective and accessible.

If you feel unable to commit to the minimum of eight initial weekly sessions, we encourage you to explore alternative options that may better suit your needs. We understand that everyone’s journey is unique, and we want to ensure you find the support that works best for you.
